2020 PROBONO Pinot Noir
Santa Barbara County, JD 91 / IWR 91 points
"Fruit comes from the Santa Maria Valley and the Sta. Rita Hills AVA allowing blending from two completely distinct styles of Pinot Noir. Displaying a dark cherry core with a pomegranate rim, it boasts notes of blueberry pie, hoisin sauce, dark cherry fruit leather, violet flower, forest moss, and Turkey Tail mushroom. It’s a lot more intricate and interesting than it should be. High levels of acidity, rounded tannins, and a smokey cedary herb note on the back palate complete the wine."
