This is one of the most historic vineyards in Santa Maria Valley. Many of this region’s most acclaimed winemakers have enjoyed great success working with this special site.

Bien Nacido’s cool climate and hillside exposure produces an elegant, spicy expression of Syrah, reminiscent of the great Northern Rhône appellations. I believe that Vineyard Manager Chris Hammell and his dedicated crew are taking this vineyard to even greater heights.
